My father is the one, whom I loved a lot He is the one, whom I cared for However, sometimes he scolded me a lot But his love for me was deep and pure Sometimes his love was queer and quaint Just like the walls without colorful paint He provided me everything I ever need, That helped me a lot and so I succeeded How much……..?He was great, i can’t explain But he was generous just as drops of rain. Abruptly, we heard the news of his death, That broke our patience and breath. It was the time, I returned from school, To be with my father, fresh and cool. But my life then, came to an end, When my father was in the shroud, to be sent. I wish my father would come back again, To take away my grieves and pains. But I know it cannot happen Because it is due to some power in heaven. Besides my mom’s prayers to GOD, I also pray for him, my LORD. This life is a labyrinth, I need my father! May the light of your words guide me forever. Alas! To say. I have no words, Because my father is no more, not with us… “May his soul rest in Peace”! From a loving daughter to a Great father.
